Jade Goody targeted by gambling site

Camera evidence required for £10,000 prize

A gambling website is encouraging people to throw a custard pie at Jade Goody, and then use their digital camera or mobile phone to record the attack.

Gottabet said it will pay £10,000 to the first person who throws “a real custard pie or foam pie” at either Goody, who is up for eviction tonight, or fellow contestants Danielle Lloyd and Jo O’Meara.

“Probably your biggest challenge will be to work out how to smuggle it in past the security at the live show,” says a note on Gottabet's website.

However, if prize-seekers are unable to hit the target during live coverage of Big Brother programmes, they can still qualify for the payout at a later date by using their mobile phone or digital camera to provide video or photo evidence of the attack.

Gottabet’s terms and conditions say those planning to take part in the challenge must be over 18 and, importantly, accepts no legal liability. “Gottabet.com will not be liable for any legal action incurred by the pie-thrower in the pursuit of this dare.”
