1&1 Internet adds new features to MyWebsite packages

1&1 brings video, brochures and surveys to MyWebsite

1&1 MyWebsite Brochure tool

1&1 Internet has announced a hoast of new features for its MyWebsite instant website package.

The web hosting provider has added Video Maker, Interactive Brochure and Online Survey tools to MyWebsite. 1&1 said the features give small companies the best possible chance for online success. See also: 1&1 MyWebsite Business review.

1&1 said: "These new Apps are further examples of how 1&1 actively advises  small businesses on how to achieve a successful e-business strategy. 1&1 MyWebsite now offers more than 75 web applications that can be integrated simply by ‚drag and drop‘ into a website design to add functionality across eCommerce, communication, social media, or business management."

The Video Maker tool allows users to create video content for their website easily and quickly. Videos can be made in a few clicks from up to 20 images with a choice of royaly free music. This is ideal for showcasing work. See also: 1&1 MyWebsite Personal review.

The Online Brochure tool is exactly what is says on the tin, allowing users to create a digital brochure for customers to browse through online. Images and text can be made into a 32 page PDF which be be viewed, saved, printed or shared to social networks.

1&1 says few business owners use their website to collect vital feedback or research from customers. The Online Survey tools aims to help with this giving to tools to collect vital data from visitors for free. Surveys can be made from different templates and embedded on the website. Results are then emailed in either PDF, Word, PowerPoint and Excel formats.
