Fasthosts launches new web hosting packages

New entry-level Personal package for beginners

Whether you want to build a website for personal or business use, it's easier than ever these days. It's also cheaper than ever with hosting providers waging a contstant price war with each other.

Fasthosts is a UK web host with data centres in the UK, so visitors will benefit from faster page loading times and you'll get UK-based customer service when you need help. Support is available 24/7 by phone or online.

The new hosting packages start from £2.99 but there's currently 70 percent off for the first 3 months. Alternatively you can pay upfront for up to three years' hosting to save money.

The new packages combine generous or unlimited web space, inclusive .uk domains, web building and monitoring tools, Microsoft Exchange 2010 email and unlimited bandwidth.With the more expensive packages, there's also the ability to host multiple websites.

The new Personal Package is great for beginners who require a reliable yet easy to use web hosting solution. Pay upfront for a year and this will cost you less than £33. Or, if you prefer to pay monthly, you can benefit from the 70 percent discount and get the first three months for just £5 including VAT. This includes all the tools needed to design and maintain a good-looking website.

The package includes 5GB web space, 10-page SiteBuilder, £50 Google Ad Vouchers, 5 FTP accounts, 50 starter mailboxes and  Exchange 2010, including the Outlook web app. You can choose whether you want Windows- or Linux-based hosting for the same price.

For businesses, the entry-level Bronze package costs £5.99 per month (or £4.19 with the discount) and gives you 50GB of web space, 10 MYSQL databases, 500 email accounts and 50 FTP accounts.
