Web app lets you send emails in your own handwriting

Create your own fonts with Font Creator

An online app that allows web users to write emails and publish websites in their own handwriting has been made available.

Font Creator, which has been developed by Fontself, is free to use. Just print an alphabet template from the website and then write your characters and scan them into Font Creator.

They can then be used in emails or published to your blog or website. Alternatively, because the Font Creator is supported by Facebook and MySpace, you can also use the fonts when posting to your social-networking profiles.

"Until now the degree to which you can personalise your messages online has been limited to a pre-defined selection of fonts and smileys beyond the control of average users. Our Font Creator enables people to be as visually creative and expressive as they are in every other aspect of their lives," said Fontself's CEO & co-founder Franz Hoffman.

For more information or to start using Font Creator, visit the Fontself website.
