We take a look at Google Showcase - a new range of multimedia tours in Google Earth that feature some of hottest surf and dive spots, important shipwrecks, large underwater mountains and vast canyon systems running along the seafloor.

Blue Hole: dive spots

Fans of scuba and snorkelling can get some tips from this Ocean Showcase tour, which takes you to some of the greatest locations in the world to see beautiful coral reefs, sunken ships and more.

This image shows Lighthouse Reef off the coast of Belize in Central America. This is the second largest coral reef in the world, after Australia's Great Barrier Reef, and is home to the Blue Hole, a natural formation almost 400 feet deep.

Aliwal Shoal: dive spots

If your life's ambition is to swim with the sharks, then Aliwal Shoal off the coast of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa may be the dive spot for you.

It is home to blacktip reef sharks, ragged-tooth sharks and many other forms of sea life.
