Virgin Media launches new 7.2Mbps USB dongle

Dongle priced from £9.99

Virgin Media has unveiled a new mobile broadband dongle that offers speed of up to 7.2Mbps.

The dongle, which can be plugged into the USB port of a laptop or PC, is available to new and existing customers on rolling one-month mobile broadband packages and 18-month deals.

The dongle costs £9.99 for those on an 18-month contract and £34.99 for those on a one-month deal.

Graeme Oxby, executive director of mobile at Virgin Media, said: "We're thrilled to be offering this faster mobile broadband to our users. If you're not at home or near a wireless connection, mobile broadband is the best way of staying connected on the move and we're delighted to be making this a speedier, more pleasant experience for our customers".
