Google launches designer skins for Chrome

Dolce & Gabbana helps personalise your browser

Google has unveiled a number of skins that allow web users to customise its Chrome browser.

The skins have been created by top fashion designers including British legends Vivianne Westwood and Matthew Williamson, as well as Dolce & Gabbana, Oscar de la Renta and Donna Karan.

"A bit like painting your nails to match your outfit, or changing your make-up to reflect the occasion, we've found that people like to customise their technology too," said Kate Hammond, product marketing manager at Google.

Matthew Williamson is just one of the designers that have created skins for Google's Chrome web browser

"With people spending ever more time on the web, these designer themes bring a little more style to your internet experience."

There are over 100 skins to choose from and they can be downloaded from Google's dedicated website.
