Virgin Media suffers network fault

Intermittent service problems for Virgin customers

Some Virgin Media customers are currently experiencing broadband and email problems as the internet service provider works to fix a large fault in its network.

Virgin Media told Broadband Genie that engineers are working on it as a "high priority": it is a backbone issue which means many customers will be fine, as it depends on how they are being routed around the system.

The spokesperson said: "Some of our customers are currently experiencing intermittent service problems caused by power fluctuations at one of our facilities. Our engineers are working hard to bring services back on line as quickly as possible."
