Google adds 'Deep Search' function

Page breakdown helps users search more easily

Google has introduced a 'deep search' function that expands the top result of its search listings.

With the new function, users will not only see the page URL but a breakdown of its main sections too. It is designed to ensure users find exactly what they are looking for, more easily.

The upgrade builds on previous improvements and Google hopes it puts even more distance between the search engine and its competitors such as Microsoft.
