Tesco offers laptop & mobile broadband bundles

Dell and Compaq machines now available

Tesco has announced it is to start offering mobile broadband and laptop bundles.

The deals will be available through Tesco's online mobile phone store and Tesco Phone shops. Customers will be offered a choice of 30 different laptops and netbooks from manufacturers such as Dell and Compaq.

A Dell XPS 16 with a two-year mobile broadband deal from 3 priced at £29.36 a month and a Compaq CQ60-214EM with mobile broadband from 3 or Orange for £34.26 per month are among the best deals currently available through Tesco.

"We're delighted to be able to offer our customers free laptops and netbooks for the very first time. We believe that mobile broadband is going to really take off in 2009 and we want to help our customers get the very best deals, making it easier than ever for them to stay connected wherever they are," said Lance Batchelor, chief executive officer of Tesco Mobile and Tesco Telecoms.
