Tailored software allows touch-screen browsing

Opera is making a specially tailored version of its web browser for Nintendo DSi users.

The browser has been customised to work with the DSi's touchscreen to give users a browsing experience that is "intuitive and easy to use".

"Opera is excited to work with Nintendo to bring the easy and accessible way to browse the Internet to Nintendo DSi lovers across the globe," said Jon von Tetzchner, CEO, Opera Software.

The Opera Nintendo DSi browser can be downloaded free of charge from the Nintendo DSi shop. Nintendo's DSi will go on sale in the UK tomorrow.
