Be Broadband reduces prices by 50p

Reduction is above the 2.5% VAT rate cut

Be Broadband has announced that it will reduce the price of a number of its broadband packages by 50p.

The price cuts are more than the 2.5 percent VAT reduction, which was announced by the Chancellor of the Exchequer last week.

The Be value package now costs £13.50, while the BE unlimited bundle is pri9ced at £17.50 and the Be Pro package drops to £21.50. The ISP is also reducing its static IP address bundles for the Be Pro service by 50p to £9.50 for a pack of 7 and £19.50 for a pack of 8.

"We had the option of following the governments 2.5 percent reduction in VAT, but we decided give a little extra to our members and round the price drop to 50p. We chose to give a better deal to our customers, which is more in line with Be's way of thinking," said Felix Geyr, Managing Director of Be Broadband.
