Save £285 shopping online at Christmas

Be Broadband study reveals 32 percent savings

Be Broadband says web users could beat the credit crunch by doing their Christmas shopping online.

According to the ISP, a typical family can save more than £285 or 32 percent on their average Christmas shopping list, by combining buying online with cashback offers from major retailers.

Among the online retailers that are offering savings are Amazon, which has up to 75 percent off designer watches and quidco.com, which allows net users to search for the best cashback offers and discounts available.

"The shopping list we put together would have cost £876 if we went to the high street. With online shopping you'll quickly find massive discounts from respected retailers online" said Felix Geyr, managing director at Be Broadband.
