Adobe Photoshop hits mobile phones

Upload pics to the web from your handset

Adobe has announced it is launching mobile phone software that will allow users of Windows Mobile handsets to upload images they've snapped on their camera phones direct to the web.

Users of the app, which is being released to coincide with the launch of Photoshop Elements 7.0, will also be able to organise their snaps into their online albums and even share the pics with friends and family from their mobile phones, The app works in conjunction with Photoshop Express, the free online photo storage and editing facility which is being rebranded as Photoshop.com from this month.

Adobe has also confirmed that in the future, those with other handsets such as the iPhone will be able to upload photos to their Photoshop.com account using the third-party ShoZu software.
