Channel 4 shows now available on iTunes
Joins BBC offering TV downloads
Channel 4 has joined the BBC in making some of its TV shows available through Apple's iTunes service in the UK.
See also:
Shows including 'Shameless', 'Skins', 'Peep Show', 'Black Books', 'Spaced', 'Monarchy' and 'Teachers' are available now through iTunes.
Shows cost £1.89 per episode and both current and previous series have been made available of some of the Channel 4 shows.
The move emerges as the broadcaster ramps-up its digital media strategy. The company this week announced a new £50m creative fund for digital media projects.
"Digital technology transforms our audiences’ ability to create, access and engage with our content, making it easier for us to identify the best new British creativity and bring it to a wider UK audience and catalyse a new generation of digital media production companies," said Channel 4 chief executive Andy Duncan.
