An attempted armed robbery at a US Apple Store has resulted in one gunshot injury and a massive police search for the bandit.

The suspect is decribed as a skinny black male believed to be in his twenties and wearing a fake beard. He was seen fleeing from the rear of the store. In a throwback to the days before the original iMac the suspect was reportedly clad in beige.

According to AppleInsider, witnesses heard what appeared to be a gunshot from the back of the store and then heard a woman scream.

"Someone was just shot at the store and just were carted out in an ambulance. Unsure what happened but the store is closed down and there are police everywhere," said the witness.
