Steve Jobs has liver transplant

Report: Apple CEO had op two months ago

Agam Shah

Apple CEO Steve Jobs received a liver transplant about two months ago to treat an undisclosed medical condition, according to reports.

The Wall Street Journal first reported the story on Friday, claiming Jobs, who is on leave of absence from the company because of health issues, received the transplant in Tennessee. He is recovering well and is expected to return to work later this month on a part-time basis.

Jobs, who is a survivor of pancreatic cancer, took leave in January from the company citing health issues. Jobs at the time said he had been diagnosed with a hormone imbalance that caused him to lose weight. The health-related issues were "more complex" than he originally thought, Jobs wrote in a memo to Apple employees at the time.

Apple's chief operating officer Tim Cook took charge of day-to-day operations in Jobs' absence.

I was shocked to read the news article about Steve Jobs and wonder if his illness is due to the unintentional consequences associated with exposure to this technology.

I have no doubt in my mind that I am a victim to long term exposure to radiation from a phone mast.

I developed breast cancer at the age of 38 and discovered that I was living in a cancer cluster which is one of many around phone masts worldwide.

Don’t become another victim. Educate yourself by reading the Rewrie.me eMagazine

And review the research on the UK charity - EM Radiation Research Trust website.
