Asus has unveiled the latest addition to its Eee PC netbook range - the 1008HA Seashell. See also: Asus Eee PC 1008HA Seashell review.
Measuring 262x178x25.7mm, the 10in 1.1kg machine is powered by Intel's Atom N280 1.6Ghz processor. It includes 1GB of RAM and runs Windows XP Home edition.
Buyers also get a 160GB hard disk drive, Bluetooth and wireless 802.11b/g/ and n connectivity together with a 10in LED backlit 1,024x600 display, a 1.3Mp webcam, two USB ports and a three-in-one card reader.
Available in white, Blue or Burgundy, Asus claims the Eee PC Seashell, which is priced at £379, has a battery life of six hours. It will be available from May 15.
