Tesco said a "joint partnership with O2" allowed the network to make the iPhone 3G (review) and Apple iPhone 3GS (review) available through Tesco Phone Shops and its online store.
Tesco didn't reveal exactly which date the handset would be available, although it is thought to be hitting stores in time for Christmas. Tesco didn't reveal any pricing details either.

Both Orange and Vodafone recently announced they would be stocking the iPhone, after O2 lost its exclusive deal to offer the handset in the UK which recently lost its exclusive deal.
Tesco mobile customers can register their interest in the handset at a dedicated website.
