The cheapest 3G iPhone deal will cost £30 per month for either an 8GB 3G iPhone (£99 upfront charge) or the 16GB model (£159), with users getting 75 minutes and 125 texts. The same one-off charges apply to the £35-per-month deal, but customers get 600 minutes and 500 free texts.

For £45 per month, customers get the 8GB iPhone for free, while the 16GB version costs £59. People on that price plan get 1,200 minutes and 500 free texts. Those on £75-per-month deal pay nothing for the handset, and get 3,000 minutes and 500 texts.

All contracts are for 18 months, and include unlimited data and free Wi-Fi (via The Cloud hotspots).

O2 says customers can also create the "perfect iPhone bundle" by adding Bolt Ons to their contract. These include unlimited texts, unlimited calls to other O2 users, unlimited weekend calls and unlimited landline calls.

Data-roaming Bolt Ons are also available. Those travelling abroad are offered 10MB of extra data per month for £20, or 50MB for £50. Further details are available here.

Apple's 3G iPhone is due to go on sale in the UK on Friday 11 July.
