More than four out of five Brits would rather give up alcohol, chocolate or sex than their mobile phone, says business ISP Lumison.
A study carried out by the firm shows 62 percent of mobile phone users would rather give up chocolate than their handset while 23 percent said they'd go without alcohol to keep their beloved gadget. Just eight percent were willing to give up sex.
Lumison said that three quarters of Brits couldn't go without their handset for longer than a day.

"Brits are now hugely reliant upon technology to stay in touch with friends, colleagues, contacts and business associates. But this brings it own complexity," says Aydin Kurt-Elli, CEO of Lumison.
Lumison also revealed that email has taken over from snail mail with 62 percent claiming not to have posted a letter in the last month, while 19 percent said it had been more than five years since they posted a letter.
"There is a vast array of ways in which people want to be contacted and how and when they choose to contact people. We just need to make sure all this technology is joined up, because missed calls or unread emails can cost money in lost opportunities," added Kurt-Elli.
