Set up the page and ensure the basic parameters for the print job are correct. Choose File, Page Setup. A pop-up dialog box enables you to set the page in portrait or landscape orientation. Tick both Centering boxes and check that Scaling is set to ‘Fit to: 1 by 1 page(s)'.

Step 1
To start a print job, select File, Print. If you're working in Office 2007, select Print from the Office button. The main Print dialog offers basic printing parameters, such as which page(s) from a multipage document should be included and how many copies are required. If you need more control over a print, hit Properties.

Step 2
The design and features offered by the printer driver dialog depend on your printer. Most are multitabbed panes with tabs such as Basic, Advanced and Quality. Select whichever would be the general tab - Basic or Setup, for example. From here select the image size, which tray to feed paper from and the paper type.
