Phones 4U planning Samsung Galaxy launch this week

A mystery device will arrive on 30 March

Phones 4U is gearing up for an enigmatic Samsung device launch on 30 March.

The retailer has transformed the front of its Oxford Street branch in London with a giant Samsung logo. Below it are the words "Coming 30.03.12" teasing the launch date of the new device, according to Eurodroid.

We've contacted Phones 4U which is keeping quiet about what device, or possibly devise, are being launched. It told us we would have to wait and find out. Not the best way to get people to queue out the door in our opinion.

It's anyone's guess as to what Phones 4U will launch although it's bound to be running Android. A spokesperson for Samsung said: "We are unable to provide any further details on the P4U activity until the launch."

Samsung recently announced its Galaxy Pocket, Galaxy Beam, Galaxy Note 10.1 but none of these have a price or release date yet. Another but unlikely possibility is the Galaxy S3 which Samsung hasn’t announced yet.
