Remember when Sonic was good? Hopefully it's a time we'll return to when Generations is finally with us, but for now we've got the old Sonic games to remember the speedy blue one's heyday. In celebration of Sonic's 20th birthday, Sega has discounted a selection of PSN and Xbox Live Marketplace content by between 33 and 50%.

On PSN, Sonic fans can grab Sonic's birthday bundle for $19.99. Included in the package is Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic 2, Sonic 4 Episode 1, Sonic Adventure and its DX add-on. That's about $40 value for $20. Not a bad deal, and some of those games are even good. The package will be available until July 12.

On the Xbox Live Marketplace, Sonic, Sonic 2 and Sonic 3 are all 240 Microsoft Points, which is 40% off their usual price. Sonic 4 Episode 1 is 800 Microsoft Points, which is 33% off its regular selling point. Sonic & Knuckles and Sonic Adventure are both 50%, putting them at 120 and 400 Microsoft Points respectively. These offers run until June 28.

Don't forget the demo of Sonic Generations' "Classic Style" gameplay is currently available on PSN and Xbox Live Arcade, but will be pulled after July 12.
