While Google main reign supreme in the web search category, Facebook and Twitter have shown the company's vulnerability in the world of social networking. While Google is hoping to make new inroads with the advent of Google Plus (no, I'm not going to type Google+), it looks like their new service is set to include games as well.

It's no secret that Google has been looking for a gaming product manager, but Engadget unearthed source code that proves Google Games is officially in the works...or at least in the code. While there's no set date for the service, nor any details about what it might entail, I just hope it's more than just a series of FarmVille, CityVille, and Mafia Wars clones.
