From June 7 -- the day after the 3DS eShop launches, coincidentally -- around 1,000 Best Buy stores around the country will be offering a variety of SpotPass content for Nintendo's handheld. The service will apparently offer special offers for Best Buy customers, 3D movie trailers and other content which has not yet been revealed by either Nintendo or Best Buy.

Best Buy is stepping up its efforts in the games retail space, having revealed last month that its stores would be getting dedicated games staff, and that game trade-in credit would be redeemable against anything in store, not just other gaming products.
