Sony Reportedly Requiring Online Passes for All Future Games

It looks like Sony is set to package their upcoming PS3 games with redeemable online passes.

As reported by the folks over at Destructoid, Sony Computer Entertainment of America has noted that they'll be requiring online passes for all of their future games, starting with next month's Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception.

"Online Pass will be incorporated into Uncharted 3 and future Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios (SCE WWS) games with online functionality," an SCEA representative told Destructoid. "We will provide further information in the future."

What do you guys think? Is the promise of online multiplayer enough to make you shop exclusively for new copies of SCEA's triple-A titles?
