Deus Ex: Human Revolution DLC Available October 2011

Square Enix has announced the first piece of downloadable content for the recently released Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

The first piece of DLC for Deus Ex: Human Revolution is known as "The Missing Link." Available in October, the addon fills in part of the story where protagonist Adam Jensen otherwise mysteriously (some might say "conveniently") vanishes for three days. Mild spoilers follow.

The DLC opens with Jensen tortured by Belltower agents and temporarily stripped of the use of his augmentations. Relying solely on his instincts and basic capabilities, Jensen must escape from a freighter and uncover yet another layer to the conspiracy explored in the main game. Players will encounter new characters in new environments and have the opportunity to rebuild Adam's augmentations.

The DLC will be available for Xbox 360, PS3, PC (via Steam) and OnLive in October of this year.
