Call of Duty XP 2011: Elite Membership Priced at $50/Year

In Los Angeles, the Call of Duty XP 2011 Keynote has wrapped up, and several details were revealed.

How much do you love Call of Duty? Enough to pay a whopping $76 for the full multiplayer and DLC experience? Well, if you're the kind of COD fan who regularly rules the battlefield, you're about to get a much bigger investment for your money.

Just now, at the Call of Duty XP 2011 event in Los Angeles, several details were revealed to a crowd of fans during a live keynote, where the following features were revealed about Modern Warfare 3:

Elite Membership will cost $49.99 per year

Elite members will receive all DLC for "free," and will get it a few weeks early.

Map Packs released monthly, with 20 pieces of DLC scheduled through 2012

Call of Duty MW3 online TV shows "Noob Tube" and "Friday Night Fights" will be hosted each week

No more shotguns as secondary weapons

New weapon proficiencies "level up" your weapon the more you use it

Elite will support Clans and scheduled matches

Community competitions will be hosted online

Jeep is releasing a new "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3," er, Jeep

No game-ending nukes
