Eidos Montreal Reportedly Set to Double in Size

Proving that sometimes making an awesome game pays off, Square Enix is set to greatly expand the staff of Eidos Montreal

How about some good news for a change? Eidos Montreal, the talented team responsible for the delightful Deus Ex: Human Revolution, is reportedly set to double in size, and add 350 new employees to its payroll over the next four years.

As reported by La Press Affaires, parent company Square Enix has made a tentative agreement with financier Investissement Quebec that, once solidified, will grant tax credits and a $2 million subsidy. Which is pretty great news for Eidos Montreal, who are on track to see 100 new employees by the end of 2012.

Honestly, as long as this means we get more stellar titles like Human Revolution, we're happy gamers.
