Rebel Gaming today announced that it would be holding a charity auction to help raise funds for Jena Aird-Spach, who is currently suffering from acute myelogenous leukemia. The auction will both raise awareness of the disease and help raise the money Jena requires for her treatment.
The auction will take place between August 6 and 7 and will feature a variety of items donated from across the gaming industry. PopCap has donated some Plants vs. Zombies artwork, Gunnar Optiks is providing a pair of its gaming glasses and a range of games and collectibles will also be on offer.
"We're overwhelmed by the response we've received," said Stephanie Vivian, founder of Rebel Gaming and Jena's sister. "People have been amazingly generous with donations, time and support, and we've collected some really cool things to auction off and give away."
