PlayStation Vita Playable by Public at Gamescom Next Month

Next month's Gamescom will host exciting new things in gaming, including the public's first chance to try PlayStation Vita

Earlier today, reports circulated that PlayStation Vita would be playable for the first time by the public at this year's Tokyo Game Show, set to take place between September 15 and 19.

Since that time, German gaming site Play3.de has confirmed that Vita will also be making a public appearance at Gamescom in Cologne, Germany next month. The device was previously assumed to be on show at the event but only to media types.

We'll be reporting from Gamescom between August 17 and 21 this year. If you're in Europe at the time, you can sign up for tickets to the show here.
