Ubisoft has stopped teasing everyone with blurry videos and finally announced what the new Assassin's Creed game is: no, it's not Assassin's Creed 3, it's another game featuring Ezio, subtitled Revelations. It's coming in November to Xbox, PS3 and PC.
The new game features Ezio following in the footsteps of Altaïr on a "journey of discovery and revelation," according to Ubisoft. His path will take him to Constantinople in the Ottoman Empire, where the Templars are threatening to cause trouble. Apparently we can expect "revolutionary gameplay, allowing players to manipulate the construct of Desmond's memories and the Animus to decipher the mysteries of his past and gain insight into the future."
Revelations will also feature a solid multiplayer component, much like its predecessor Brotherhood. Ubi promises more modes, more maps and more characters than the previous game.
Expect more information on the game at E3 time. In the meantime, the game's Facebook page is a good way to stay up to date with what Ubi is up to.
