Activision has revealed a few new details about the upcoming Escalation map pack, due next month for the 360 version of Call of Duty: Black Ops.
The Escalation map pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops will be released on May 3 via Xbox Live for 1200 Microsoft points, just like previous Call of Duty map packs. It will feature five maps, one of which is a "zombies experience."
The "Hotel" map is set on the roof of a Cuban hotel and casino in old Havana. "Convoy" features close-quarters combat at the scene of an ambush. The "Zoo" map takes players to Russia to zoo which is long-abandoned -- so no taking cover behind elephants and giant pandas, PETA will doubtless be pleased to know. "Stockpile" is also set in Russia, in and around a remote farming town housing secret weapons production facilities.
The zombie map is named "Call of the Dead" and Activision promises more details soon.
The map pack will follow for PS3 and PC versions after the 360 version. Judging by the First Strike pack, the PS3 version will follow first, with the PC version a good couple of months later.
