First 10 Street Fighter X Tekken brawlers revealed

Meet the first set of tag-team fighters from Capcom's latest crossover brawler, Street Fighter X Tekken.

Producer Yoshinori Ono was on-hand at Capcom's 2011 Captivate event to show off the developer's progress on their latest crossover brawler, Street Fighter x Tekken. This tag-team fighting game sees some of the Street Fighter series' strongest combatants go toe-to-toe with the King of Iron Fist participants on a 2.5D playing field -- a first for the formerly 3D-exclusive Tekken cast.

Playable at the event were series staples Ken and Ryu; Air Force major Guile and mixed martial-artist Abel; and Interpol agent Chun-Li, who's partner has yet to be announced. On the Tekken side was Mishima Zaibatsu successor Kazuya Mishima and assassin Nina Williams; masked wrestler King and Vale Tudo fighter Craig Marduk; and obese brawler Bob. While each brawler is part of a canon tag-team that'll play into the game's story, players can mix-and-match fighters from both franchises.

Ono teased that we should expect to see even more fighters revealed at E3 later this year, where we'll undoubtedly see who both Chun-Li and Bob have been teamed up with.
