Microsoft Kinect to hit UK on November 19

Xbox 360 add-on available for pre-order

Microsoft's Kinect motion-sensing camera for the Xbox 360 will hit the UK on November 19.

The add-on, which enables Xbox users to play games by moving parts of their body, has been made available for pre-order though a number of online retailers including HMV and Play.com.

The camera will also come with a copy of Kinect Adventures - a game collection compatible with the motion-sensing camera that includes a white water rapids race and a ball batting game.

HMV is offering the motion sensor camera for £129.99 or in a £249.99 bundle including a much smaller version of the Xbox 360 that comes with 4GB flash memory rather than an integrated hard drive.

Other retailers including Amazon have yet to reveal they will be stocking the add-on.
