Actiga to launch 3D game controller

New online game launching later this year

A new web-based gaming environment that runs on Macs and PCs promises to deliver innovative 3D games that are controlled using a propriety 3D controller.

Although the games will also work with a mouse and keyboard, the forthcoming game controller from Actiga will enable users to have 3D interaction with their environment. And because Actiga's Aptus Games site works through a standard web browser, it won't matter if you're playing on the Mac or on Windows. All that's required is a broadband connection.

Actiga, which sells speciality controllers for golf, baseball, snowboarding and skateboarding games under the Qmotions brand, said that Aptus Games will span game genres ranging from action, strategy, puzzle, reality, racing, sports and more. Aptus Games will soon begin beta testing on a limited basis - users interested in the new service are encouraged to visit the website for more details.
