Microsoft Project Natal coming to Windows?

Bill Gates: gesture control not only for games

Microsoft's upcoming gesture-sensing controller - dubbed Project Natal - could be available for other platforms beyond the Xbox 360, according to Bill Gates.

The Microsoft founder told Cnet that the technology could be used for more than games, and that we may be able to manage our movies, music and "home system-type stuff" using gestures. "I think there's incredible value as we use that in the office connected to a Windows PC," he said.

Natal's isn't expected to appear until 2010. See the Project Natal video on PC Advisor TV.
