Kotaku is offering gamers the chance to play zombie-fueled first-person shooter Left 4 Dead for free.
Left 4 Dead will be free to play on the PC via Steam all day today, starting a minute after midnight GMT - which equates to 1am this (Friday) morning British Summer Time.

According to Steam, the game will be free for 24 hours straight and include the new content released in the recently released Survival Pack.
Steam users are advised to start downloading as soon as possible, as the service is likely to be clogged with fans wanting to play the popular game.
