More than one in seven (16 percent) of Brits that own an e-reader will happily take the device on holiday, says PriceRunner.
However, research by the shopping comparison site revealed that many Brits prefer loading up their suitcase with paperbacks rather than an e-reader, with 15 percent admitting to taking at least five books on holiday and 40 percent saying they take at least three books away on their summer hols.
However, the number of searches for e-readers hassurged by 35 percent over the last three months, while searches for Apple's iPad have increased by 105 percent, indicating Brits are considering investing in the technology.
"These gadgets are a much easier, lighter and more convenient way to read your favourite books on holiday.
