Elgato launches World Cup money-back offer

Refund on Deluxe TV tuner if England win

Elgato is offering consumers that purchase the Football Edition of its EyeTV DTTT Deluxe TV tuner the chance to get their money back, providing England win the World Cup.

The £79 EyeTV DTT Deluxe is a USB TV Tuner that allows PC owners to watch, pause and rewind live TV on their computer. It comes bundled with EyeTV 3 software for Mac and THC software for PC.

The football edition also comes with an England flag that can be placed on the TV tuner's antenna to show your support for the English team.

Elgato chief executive Markus Fest said: "We thought it was a cool thing to do. Obviously, we're rooting for an England and Germany final with penalty kicks."

To take part in the money-back offer, simply purchase and register your EyeTV DTT Deluxe Football edition before June 11 this year, at Elgato's dedicated webpage.
