Mail-order company Watford Electronics has picked up the assets and trading rights for Tiny Computers and Tiny.com, which went into administration in July 2005.

According to Watford, the addition of the Tiny brands to the company’s existing PC portfolio, which comprises Aries, Carrera and PowerXS, will help the company leapfrog Mesh and Evesham to become the UK’s largest PC manufacturer.

“The acquisition of the Tiny brands is one of the most exciting developments in the history of our company”, said Shiraz Jessa, Managing Director of Watford Electronics.

”Not only will it increase our share of the mainstream consumer PC market, but will significantly increase our buying power, which at the end of the day means future customers will benefit from lower prices and better quality products.”

Existing Tiny customers are invited to register their details at, Tinyprices.co.uk.
