Bloatware behemoth Microsoft found itself embarrassed yesterday after hackers defaced its website using the very same security 'hole' it had warned users about last week.

An increasingly notorious group of hackers, named the Prime Suspectz, targeted Microsoft's .uk, .sa and .mx sites pasting up the message 'Hey, Prime Suspectz owned MS again and again and again'.

Microsoft said the hackers had probably used the security hole in its Internet Information Server software.

"We think it likely that this time the hackers took advantage of the flaw we were working on," said a Microsoft spokesperson.

The incident is particularly humbling as Microsoft had told users last week that they should not wait even an hour after learning of the flaw to install the patch. Microsoft says all its affected sites are now up and running again.
