The Grim reaper is homing in on what looks like becoming the UK’s latest dot.com victim.

Online purveyer of health products, Clickmango, has given its 20-strong staff a month’s notice and will shut up shop in September unless a last minute white knight rides into town.

Clickmango was refused the necessary £300,000 to keep trading for the rest of the year when the e-tailer revealed that it had a turnover of just £2000 per week and a cash burn of £100,000 a month.

The company had a break-even date some time in the second half of 2002.
