Pacific in deep water

Another PC firm hits wall as market stays low

Troubled PC maker Pacific has confirmed it has called in the receivers. The company will be in talks with liquidators today and tomorrow.

The firm cited the dwindling PC market as a major factor in its demise, and confirmed that it did not have another buyer lined up at this point.

Andrezg Bania, spokesperson for Pacific PC, refused to comment further, but promised full details of the company’s plans would be given after the meetings. The outcome of these discussions will be eagerly awaited by Pacific's warranty-holding customers.

"All details will be released tomorrow, when we will be able to provide customers with full information," said Bania.
