Health and Safety, nice and easy

Now you can produce your HSE policy on your PC

Now there's a way of making a health and safety policy without getting someone from the Health & Safety Executive in.

The HSE has produced a piece of software called the Essentials of Health and Safety Routemap, a software package aimed at improving the health and safety awareness in small businesses.

According to the HSE, accidents at work cost Britain's businesses up to £300 a year per employee.

Produced with insurance firm Royal & Sun Alliance, the package puts the user through a Q&A on health and safety issues at work and then produces a report from which a health and safety policy can be drawn up.

It costs £95 plus VAT and comes with a copy of the HSE's handbook, Essentials of Health & Safety at Work.
