CeBit: Vidphones good, TV phones bad

Samsung brought a host of unusual phones with weird capabilities to show off at CeBit.

Cool phones are one thing, and even videophones, such as Samsung's prototype videophone (pictured) sound like they may be of use for teleconferencing and the like. But we draw the line at TV phones.

Yes, TV phones. Samsung had a working phone with built-in mini-TV at CeBit, which surely takes the prize for Silly Phone of the Show. With an extendable antenna as long as your arm you'd also look silly using it.

As far as PC Advisor is concerned, small TVs are for mad old women in Texas. This goes double for phones with little TVs.
