Vantage goes into liquidation

Onsite and extended warranties still valid

Vantage Computers has officially gone into liquidation.

The company claims that it stopped taking orders at the beginning of January, but said that customers who bought PCs before that time with onsite or extended warranties are still covered.

“If you have purchased an onsite or extended warranty with your PC or you are still covered by 24 hour-a-day software support lines, these warranties will still be valid and will continue until their completion. Details of your appropriate support package will have been included with your PC,” says a note on Vantage’s website.

PC Advisor reported last week that we had been unable to get in touch with the company for several days. Vantage was expelled from the PC Association last week, and was stripped of the Best Buy and Recommended awards it achieved in the March issue of PC Advisor.
