PC Advisor visitors vote for digital camera Christmas

Two front teeth take second place

The votes are in and Santa’s elves have been duly informed. Digital cameras are where it’s at this Christmas.

But if your loved one happens to be a PC Advisor visitor and you haven’t bought him or her a digital camera, the 25th December may have proved to have been a somewhat stressful period.

In the most conclusive interactive poll ever conducted by PC Advisor, digital cameras stole 60 percent of all votes, when visitors were asked to plump for a choice of mouth-watering Christmas goodies.

Despite the violent upheaval created in the music industry by Napster and co. over 2000, visitors to the site spurned MP3 players as the ideal Christmas present. (A mere 13.7 percent confessed to Santa about their lustful MP3 longings).

In fact even the prospect of two fully functioning front teeth proved more attractive to visitors than either a webcam (which came in last with 10.8 percent of the vote) or an MP3 player.
