Run Windows Vista on a Mac?

It can be done, blogger suggests

It will be possible to run Windows Vista on an Intel-based Mac, according to a blog posting.

An unnamed systems administrator has published a report that explains how to use Windows Vista's Boot Manager to dual-boot both OS X and Vista on an Apple MacBook.

The boffin explains that the network he looks after includes Mac, Linux and Windows machines, and that he uses his blog to "record whatever I find useful about computers".

At present the instructions would suit advanced computer users only, as they require users to move and copy some invisible system files. However, all relevant instructions appear to be available on the site.

The author explains: "Now you can see there is an entry for Mac OS X whenever you boot to Vista, select that and you can boot to Mac OS X."
